Sri Lanka has just been voted by travel expert Lonely Planet as the best place in the world to visit in 2019. From picture-postcard beaches, lush jungles and incredible wildlife, Sri Lanka has so much to offer.

Delighted Andrew Harries details his amazing experience of Sri Lanka on Daily Mail Online and Chena Huts by Uga Escapes located in the heart of the national park, was featured in his article.

This 14 hut boutique hotel Chena Huts sits in the heart of the national park where the wildlife roams free. Elephants are regular visitors to the beach bordering the resort, and leopards are often spotted nearby. Two safaris each day are included with the stay at Chena Huts, and while pick-ups feel an incongruous way to observe wildlife.
