Sri Lanka is surround by miles of near-deserted golden beaches, lush green jungles and coconut trees smouldering horizons.

Scott Macnab’s journey began in Colombo with a stay at Residence by Uga Escapes . He refers to it as the “Opulent Residence” with a pocket of calm amid of chaos of the capital, an ideal base to explore the cosmopolitan city that welcomes the cream of Ceylon society in colonia area.
From Colombo the journey continued to Batticaloa on the east coast of Sri Lanka to arrive at Uga Bay by Uga Escapes . At the resort he got to enjoy the idyllic surrounding with the infinity pool overlooking the Indian ocean and a range of Sri Lankan and Asian food at the restaurant.
His next stop was at Jungle Beach by Uga Escapes surrounded with the Jungle, a lagoon and the beach front. It’s a known haven for monkeys to make an appearance in trees overhead and the restaurant enclosed in the jungle backdrop makes dining a real experience.
