Ulagalla Night Drive

Night comes and brings with it the haunting call of a nightjar as you climb aboard our customised 4×4 vehicle and head out on a nocturnal adventure. This exciting safari, only illuminated by torches, the starlit sky and the moon on a good day, brings forth an entirely different cast of characters from those encountered by day.

Scan the darkness for porcupines shuffling through the underbrush, the reflective eyes of a fishing cat on the hunt, or even the ghostly form of a Scops owl gliding quietly overhead. Pause your adventure for light refreshments while you marvel at the star-studded sky above, unhindered by city lights and pollution, which reveals the parallel world that exists just beyond our usual awareness.
